My Grandkids are have a ball with this. I just wish it had gotten here in time for Christmas. I was very dissapointed that it took 4 weeks for delivery.
My son loves the new creations he can make. It goes a step further than the regular legos and gives him the opportnity to create something that has moving parts.
This product was well received by my grandchildren. They have made many of the project, which stimulated their own projects.Thank you.
5 of them have all the pieces included in the kit. We have a billion pieces and he is constantly creating new ships and designs with them. My son is a huge lego fan. 5 of them require other standard lego pieces that any lego fan will have in the house. This kit is a really neat addition to his collection. It has UNIQUE pieces I have not seen anywhere else, and has directions for 10 fun contraptions the kids can make. My son made the balloon-powered car last night and played with it for hours. I highly recommend this book for any 9 year old child who enjoys building with legos.
Of course, you need to have a few legos already, as this one only has the specialized pieces inside. He is almost 7 now, and we all still enjoy choosing instructions from this book to work on together. We got this for our four year old at the time. Oh - and a few rubberbands, as well. I do think the pouch is a little small for all the pieces. The zip line "robot" as my kids call it doesn't work so great, but otherwise, we've enjoyed all the projects - takes between 8 and 15 minutes to build one, if we don't stop to play together. I agree that if the child is 8 or older, this would be something they would need very little help with. Ours broke rather quickly.Sra. GoseMother of Five, Spanish Teacher, AuthorFlip Flop Spanish
